Message Board Rules

 

We invite members to share openly and freely on this board. Information sharing among members is very important and we encourage readers to share their support, wisdom and experiences.

However, anything posted that moderators consider abusive, intolerant, or beyond the bounds of generally accepted behavior will be removed immediately. Such use may result in the authors removal of privilege to use the message board. Please use respectable vocabulary at all times. The use of profanity or offensive behavior or verbiage is not permitted. This community is to be a place where everyone can feel at home in a non-threatening environment.

1) Anyone who wants to post about anything that requests participation in another organizational event needs to have this approved by the Alaska Chess League.

2) Impersonation of another board member is strictly prohibited and will result in the violator being banned from future postings.

3) Each person is limited to one username/profile on the board. Creation of multiple accounts is prohibited and may result in the removal of all the individuals accounts. 

4) Any posting that is seen as a direct verbal attack against another board member is grounds for loosing posting privileges. Remember this board is to be used for supporting fellow community members.

5) Selling or posting advertisements on the board is not permitted!

6) Collecting contact information from message board community members for distributing commercial messages or communicating material not relevant to the forum will result in banishment from using the board and if warranted legal action.

7) Request of any user's personal information is strictly prohibited. This includes contact information such as, but not limited to, email address, phone number, or mailing address.

8) Simple cut and paste messages with the same content which are posted all over the board are considered spam. The messages will be removed and the user banned.

We request instead of posting URL's to other sites, to post the material that you find valuable from that site.
